I am an avid reader of various fiction genres, murder mysteries are not included, yet I read this little novel and I was pleasantly surprised.  Every chapter kept me turning pages eager to find where Ms. Bonaire was headed.  I honestly did not think the sexy legal [aid] attorney “Leah Bonaire” would have kept my attention after the first chapter, but I found myself entranced in the journey to find the answer  “who did it?” I actually [saw] myself walking through the financial, Haight Ashbury, and Castro districts.  All the streets and people encountered along the way, to the everyday street drama, the homeless folks, and the high energy club life, all easily visualized which was a plus for me.  For a “First time writer” Lisa Bellard hit this one out of the park.  If you have never been to San Francisco THIS RIGHT HERE will definitely put you in the heart of it. This novel is a very easy and riveting read for anyone.  My advice? Get a copy, pour a glass of wine, have a seat, and Bottoms Up!”
